This week, Fable is entitled to an anniversary date and this weekend’s Xbox Game Studios Publishig account is teased to announce an event. Then some imagined there would be news of a new fable developed by Playground Games, but that would not be the case.
Teasing and a lot of noise
The official Xbox Game Studios Twitter account first posted two tweets referring to today’s announcement of Fable. Then Fable Anniversary was moved. But after seeing the excitement around this harassment, the tweets were deleted and an apology note was posted.
Sorry to mix things up! We don’t have any big news about the game tomorrow or any information on the next PlayGround Games fable.
It is difficult in this case to imagine what the planned announcement will be today. We know that Fable 1 was released on September 14, 2021 and that Fable 2 was released on Xbox 360 on October 21, 2008. So this week we’re celebrating the anniversary of the second authorship.
An important detail in this story appears to be that the tweets were posted by Xbox Game Studios Publishig, which is responsible for partnerships with third-party publishers. So there was little chance that the announcement would relate to the next Fable game from the developers of Forza Horizon since it’s an in-house studio.
Logically, therefore, it will be necessary to turn to the side of Xbox partners. But why is this? If the account indicates that no major announcements are expected, it could be a more classic celebration. But since this week coincides with the anniversary of the second opus, we can also imagine the arrival of the anniversary of Fable 2 similar to the Fable Anniversary edition released in 2014. Answer the day!
