After eleven weeks of working in collaboration with other artists, Nano Méthivier offers the unique experience of living in Lazaret Ollandini. Stroll through this ajaxian place where images, music, poetry, and virtual reality mingle.
“While booking at the end of last year, I retired here and other artists such as Gaëlle Tarditi, Christelle M and Romain Orsoni came to join me to work on this project. We invite the visitor to start the walk blindfolded, and we invite him to touch the sculptures. As he progresses, we give him an audio headset where He can also hear the sounds of the place, the music and the poems of the master of the place Francois Olandini. We have included digital codes with QR codes on different photos and places in Lazaret that refer to the artistic scenes.”
Thus, new technologies with virtual reality headsets in Lazaret cells that allow artists to be discovered in action. Finally, the walk ends on a chair to enjoy a solo concert given by different artists. Therefore, photographs, sounds, poetry, music and virtual reality will amaze the curious who will come to live the “Lazaret Experience” implemented with the support of the City of Ajaccio and requiring 11 weeks of artwork.
