Netflix’s video game debut is timid to say the least. Netflix subscribers living in Poland discovered this morning that the Netflix app offered to download two retrogaming games, namely Stranger Things: 1984 And Stranger Things 3 (Two titles have already been released on mobile elsewhere.) An advantage here, these games do not contain any ads and do not offer in-app purchases, like Apple Arcade.
Let’s talk about Netflix and games.
Members in Poland today can try out Netflix mobile games on Android using two games, Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3. It’s very early days and we have a lot of work to do in the coming months, but this is the first step. https://t.co/yOl44PGY0r

After the resounding rumors of recent weeks (which go so far as to imagine a partnership between Netflix and Sony), this malicious launch still raises questions. Netflix assures us, however, that this is the first start of its new video game strategy based on the most popular series. If Netflix itself is aware that there is a long way to go, one wonders why the American giant has not simply refrained from broadcasting these two small games without much ambition.
