ByteDance-owned Pico (which owns TikTok) has officially unveiled a new VR headset, the Pico 4 Ultra, which is the successor to the Pico 4 model.

This model aims to become a direct competitor to the Meta Quest 3 and surprises with its powerful specifications: Qualcomm Snapdragon XR Gen 2 chipset, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The Pico 4 Ultra features a display resolution of 2160 x 2160 pixels per eye and a viewing angle of 105 degrees x 105 degrees. The headset also features a 21.9Wh battery, 45W charging capacity, stereo speakers, and four microphones. It runs on Android, which allows you to connect your smartphone and computer simultaneously.
The gadget is equipped with dual 32MP cameras for color display and can record 3D videos at 2048 x 1536 pixels at 60Hz.
For now, the Pico 4 Ultra is only available in China for 4,299 yuan ($603). An international launch has yet to be confirmed.
