Activision is home to some of the most popular games on the Playstation console, including Call of Duty. After Microsoft announced its plan to acquire the video game maker on Tuesday, some analysts raised the possibility that Microsoft might reserve some Activision games exclusively for its Xbox console or for future video game subscriptions.

The head of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer, mentioned other platforms in a press release on Tuesday, but did not provide any details about Microsoft’s plans in this regard. “The Activision Blizzard games are enjoyed across a variety of platforms and we plan to continue supporting these communities in the future,” he said.

Shares of Microsoft, listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, fell 0.57 percent to $ 301.60, while shares of Activision Blizzard rose 0.47 percent to $ 81.76.
