The Inbox folder – technically known as Inbox – stores all the email you receive from other people, including spam in some cases. If you are expecting an email, you should check your Gmail inbox regularly.
Access your inbox at gmail It’s simple. In fact, the default view when you log into your Gmail account is the inbox. The default Gmail view can’t be changed, so you should always access your inbox when you’re signed in.

The second step
Enter your Google username and password in the Username and Password fields, then click “Sign in” to sign in to your Google account. The default view is the Inbox folder.

Click the Inbox link in the left pane if you don’t see your Inbox, to access the Inbox folder.
