All day long, the Ayroule Plain welcomes back to school associations. At least 65 associations in the sports, cultural and charitable fields have come together… “And there are surprises in the program!” This was announced by Fabian Guizhou, deputy mayor in charge of associations. Demonstrations, workshops and the planned stage. But also inflatable games, treasure hunt, pony ride, virtual reality stand, food trucks…
A sort of rehearsal, on a smaller scale, took place last week with Vitalsport. The Foix Karate Club, which will also attend the Ayroule Plain today, was in Décathlon on Saturday.
Demonstrations took place in the late morning and afternoon. The ancient warriors unlocked the ball, introducing a series of “katas” (codified sequence) and defensive offensive techniques.
Then it was the turn of children and adolescents, who also, with great enthusiasm, presented a high level of kata. Everyone was also able to appreciate the demonstration of Iaido (Japanese sword art), by Jean-Marc Bouchon (who trains kids at Club Foix) and is passionate, holding black belts in many martial arts. The atmosphere was excellent and the participants were especially excited: Manon, Carla, Pablo, Ivan, Laura with a special reference to Luca the youngest, 11 years old, who starts karate with great enthusiasm.
Great workout before today.
