There, the entertainment group introduces the new feature in a one-year testing phase from April 22, 2021 to April 22, 2022. During this period, one would like to know if it would be beneficial to expand the offer to other countries. PlayStation has posted a matched video ad on its Polish YouTube channel.

New feature without additional charges

The PlayStation Plus Video Pass initially consists of 15 movies and six series, with more titles following every quarter. The start is promising: it includes clicks like “Venom” and “Zombieland 2 – Double is Better” – the series list includes, for example, “SWAT” and “Community”. The offer is aimed at PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. owners. Whether the broadcast feature comes to Germany depends largely on the success of the testing phase. However, since Video Pass complements the previous PlayStation Plus membership range at no extra charge and has some top-tier players ready, a successful acid test is realistic.
