Roku OS 11 Unveiled – Geek Tools

Roku has announced the launch of Roku OS 11 which will bring a host of new features to Roku devices including customization and more.

This will include the new Photo Streams feature that allows you to add your own photo to Roku devices and more new features.

Here are some of the features:

ROKU-AUDIO

  • Automatic speech clarity and voice modes Roku strives to always provide the best sound. Now available for Roku audio products, Roku’s new Auto Speech Clarity setting dynamically defines and amplifies dialogue, so you never miss a word.
  • New sound modes for streaming bars and Roku speakers Choose the optimal settings for whatever you’re broadcasting. The new sound modes Standard, Dialogue, Movie, Music and Night are easily accessible by pressing the star* button on the Roku remote or via the Roku mobile app, and are designed for different viewing scenarios to ensure the best audio experience .
  • Picture and sound synchronization Roku extends A/V sync to supported audio players and devices using a simple calibration tool in the Roku Mobile app, to sync audio with on-screen action. This feature is available when the player or streaming bar is connected to the Roku mobile app and can be accessed in the Settings menu.
