Rush, the new 5v5 game mode on EA Sports FC 25

Here you can find all the official information about Rush, the 5v5 mode in EA Sports FC 25. This new mode will be present in all aspects of the football game, whether in FUT, Club Pro Career Mode or Kick-Off. EA FC 25 will be released on September 20 in Early Access and from September 27 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

Everything you need to know about Rush Mode

In principle, with only 5 players (4 outfield players and a goalkeeper) on the field, the Rush game mode will offer a completely different experience than other game modes.

• The rules have been slightly modified and adapted to 5v5.
• The pitch has become smaller with changes to the offside rule (only in the final third of the pitch) and commitments (Rocket League style).
• There is no red card but a blue one, which will temporarily remove a player after committing a foul.
• Golden goal system in extra time
• Ice hockey style penalty kick (attacker and goalie can move, as in arena mode)

So, we are in a game mode that will have similar gameplay mechanics to other game modes, but its rules have necessarily been slightly modified. The idea is to provide a new and fun experience on EA FC 25.

Rush, a social game mode accessible in all game modes.

The goal of Rush is to offer a new and fun experience for EA FC 25 players but also the ability to bring all types of players together on the same field. Therefore, access to Rush will be available in all game modes:

• In FUT, your club cards can be used
• In Clubs, your players will be able to develop with your friends under the colors of your club.
• In career mode, your character will be usable.
• In Kick-Off mode, it will be possible to play using players from a club or country.

In terms of rewards, this allows you to gain Season Pass experience, FUT rewards, and club rewards that can be used in 11v11 later, as well as helping your player progress.

EA Sports FC 25 Release Date

EA has confirmed its estimates regarding the release date of EA FC 25. Accordingly, the football game will be released on September 20 in Early Access (via Final Edition and pre-order) and on Friday, September 27 for all users.
