The FBI hacks the smartphone of a suspect in Trump's assassination, and suddenly Samsung wakes up. Coincidence? To the others!

Samsung in panic mode
Let's rewind a bit. In April, Google plugs to break On its pixels. So far, so good. However, this bug, the famous CVE-2024-32896 (for all devices), turns out to affect all Android devices. Yes, even Samsung Galaxy.
And there you go! The FBI managed to hack the Samsung smartphone of the Trump shooter. Thanks to whom? Thanks Celebratean Israeli company that specializes in legal hacking. See the board?
The guys from GrapheneOS, the smart guys in the Android world, already sounded the alarm back in April. According to them, this flaw was a real playground for forensic companies. In the face of all this noise, Samsung has finally woken up. The patch scheduled for September arrives in August.
As if one flaw wasn’t enough, GrapheneOS says there’s a second flaw, CVE-2024-29745. This one could be spying on you without you even realizing it. Reassuring, eh?
Worst? Only pixels are protected at the moment. Samsung? Radio silence.
