St-Wen Mobile Transformation Happened!

St. Wenceslas. A rallying point for activities organized by the Loisirs de Saint-Wenceslas For almost 5 years, the St-Wen mobile has received new clothes on the municipality’s image for the start of the summer season 2021.

Réal Deschênes, Mayor of Saint-Wenceslas, explains that after assessing the needs of the municipality, the choice was made to purchase a caravan that could be used during the events organized by the Loisirs.

“In all of our activities, there is a St-Wen phone! It has refrigerators for drinks and anything that needs refrigeration. It is also used for certain meals. However, you cannot cook there, because it is not equipped for that,” explains Real Dechen.

After a few years of loyal service, the St-Wen mobile had the opportunity to undergo a makeover. “I think it takes her life to learn to read and write in our picture!”, recalls Mr. Dechen.

It’s present in all of our events, it’s like a rallying point,” says Stephanie Bellevue, a volunteer at Loisirs de Saint-Wenceslas. “You just have to locate a St-Wen mobile to know something is going on in Saint-Wen! For example, it was used during the Father’s Day bike rally as it served as a springboard. There was music and free snacks were served there,” he continues Mrs. Bellevue.

During the summer we will be able to see the St-Wen Mobile every Wednesday in July and August, from 4pm to 7pm, for the local merchants booth on the Place du Parc. “Traders are welcome to give them a good view and bring the garden to life. Traders of all categories are welcome!”, confirms Ms. Bellevue.

In fact, we can discover merchants and artisans in jewelry, clothing, fruits and vegetables, ceramics, paint, retail butchery products, etc. “We are discovering new business, which is very interesting after COVID! It provides a great offer for merchants and artisans, as well as an opportunity for Saint-Wen residents to leave their homes!”, continues the volunteer.

Plus, every week, premium merchants will be able to set up shop in mobile St-Wen!
