IGN is pleased to reveal to you survival machine, a uniquely designed co-op survival game that asks you to make your way through a zombie apocalypse on a mobile city driven across the globe. It’s scheduled for 2022 on Steam.
A trailer was announced during the IGN Expo, showing off the trailer for the low-polygon game, with its weapons, resource harvesting, and industries taking place on a massive rolling base. This base is as much a burden as it is a protection, and it keeps rolling as it leaves its sanctuary to gather what it needs to survive.
Designed for up to 4 players, the game will see you grow your city through different environments in search of a safe place to land. Together you will have to leave the base during the day, harvest pre-apocalyptic resources, and defend against zombie hordes at night.
The gameplay includes researching technology, crafting, and building defenses (from individual weapons to basic structures like cannons), and developer Grapes Pickers promises that Survival Machines encourages replayability by making sure every adventure is different.
