T-Mobile announces free OnePlus 9 deal when adding a line

T-Mobile just launched a new promotion with two OnePlus smartphones. Starting Friday, October 15, new and old T-Mobile customers can get a free OnePlus 9 when they add a line. If you go for OnePlus 9 Pro, T-Mobile will offer a discount of $730 if the following conditions are met.

No trade required, but the customer must add a line And Upgrade to the Magenta Max plan. T-Mobile is offering attractive promotions with new smartphones to entice customers to switch to its new, slightly more expensive plans that offer unlimited data with no simple limits.

The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro both launched earlier this year and are powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The OnePlus 9 “vanilla” uses a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display and the 9 Pro has a slightly larger 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display. The two screens reproduce at 120 Hz.

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro both have a 48MP main camera with omnidirectional PDAF and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. They also have a 2-megapixel monochrome camera. However, OnePlus 9 Pro has Laser AF and OIS for the main camera. It is also the only one of the two to have a 3X telephoto lens.

The OnePlus 9 is available from T-Mobile for $729 while the OnePlus 9 Pro will retail for $1,068 from the carrier. All support Warp Charge 30T, but the OnePlus 9 Pro supports Warp Charge 65 and Warp Charge Wireless 50 with Warp Charge 50 Wireless Charger (not included).

T-Mobile is launching this promotion today so subscribers can take advantage of it right away. The carrier says the promotion will run through the end of the year.
