At Fossadalbero Country Club, President of Spal, Joe Tacopina, was a guest of the Rotary Club Ferrara Est and President Filippo Marmini, carrying out a service for the volunteer organization “SOS Dyslexia”. Tacopina showed great skills as a communicator and motivator, answering the questions of the well-known Rai journalist Furio Zara. The head of SPAL said he was touched by the culture and beauty of the city, by the people and fans, who gave him a warm welcome and will do their best to give it back. The goal is to make the city and the Spal brand known internationally with various initiatives, assuming, if conditions are right, next summer’s retreat for Harvard players in the United States. Then the president announced that the Ferrara experience is different from the previous cities because he loves Ferrara and will personally take care of his friends with the Pianazura Club. The participants highly appreciated the concept of family expressed by Tacopina who repeatedly stressed belonging to the city, not only from a sporting point of view, and the amount of warmth that Ferrara residents also devoted to her children and loved ones. Concluding the meeting with the speakers, the Rotary Ferrara Foundation and SPAL organized a charity raffle with prizes, T-shirts, balls and gadgets given out by SPAL. The donation was to SOS Dyslexia to fund a computer room.
