tall mountains. The good Gap is back with a new look

During the 2019 edition of Gap good, in the Quattro, more than 2,000 people attended the event. Julien, originally from Toulouse, has been showing his work since the first edition in 2018, and recalls: “It was a huge success. At the time, I had brought two driving simulators that were queuing all day, and in the next edition I brought more animations. For this year, I brought six and I think they will still be successful.”

In the face of success, the event dominated the Alp’Arena

“For this fifth edition, after the success of the previous years, we decided to acquire Alp’Arena. The idea is to reach the largest possible audience. There are spaces for everyone: those who want to compete find themselves there as those who want to play without bets or Those who love retro games, ”explained the organizers.

“A good Gap is a human-level event,” says Alexander, president of Project Conquerors, an association that organizes the four major tournaments: League of Legends, Fifa, Fortnite and Team Fight Tactics. The manager specifies: “In previous versions, the main game for the competitions was League of Legends (LOL), and these were the only matches broadcast on the stage. This year, LOL is still the star but other real tournaments are being created, with rewards money and broadcast via Internet, on the Twitch channel of Project Conquerors.” 120 players are already registered.

“A good gap game, it’s a good idea for young people, for the city, it brings enthusiasts together, it’s positive,” admits Paul, manager of La Cabane du gamer store, rue Colonel Roux. But according to the dealer “no Gapençais players are really involved”. If he had already contacted City Hall about it, he has since “never received an email,” he says, to make the project a reality. Paul concludes “For me, it would be a pleasure to participate, to display the consoles…”.
