The budget-friendly Topton 2 Screen laptop, powered by an Intel Alder Lake-U processor, is priced at just under €500.

Dual-screen laptops can offer an upgraded user experience for productivity tasks, but these devices are still mostly marketed at premium prices, especially if the focus is on higher processing power combined with OLED displays. The latest Topton 2 Screen laptop offers decent processing speed compared to the Alder Lake-N models, as the i3-1215U comes with two performance cores with hyper-threading plus 4 efficiency cores, for a total of 8 threads. Topton equips this new model with an LCD touchscreen, though OLED displays are becoming more affordable. As for input methods, one of the displays can be used as a virtual keyboard. Additionally, for $45, Topton offers a separate keyboard and stand that attaches to the displays and allows for vertical or horizontal dual-screen setups. The back of the keyboard hides a retractable touchpad. Naturally, users can connect their own Bluetooth devices.

Although the processor is quite energy efficient, the two touchscreens working side by side require a lot of power, which is unfortunately very limited in this case, as Topton offers a 34Wh battery that should last between 2 and 4 hours.

By default, this dual-screen laptop comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM via a single slot, plus 256GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage for $482. Topton offers RAM options up to 32GB and Storage up to 2TB. The 32GB RAM + 2TB variant remains relatively affordable at $696.
