The latest AIDA64 release lists the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

NVIDIA will soon release a new high-end graphics card for laptops.

In terms of consumer graphics cards, NVIDIA plans to release several new desktop references, GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, GeForce RTX 3080 12GB, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16GB and finally GeForce RTX 3050. Moreover, the announcement of GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16G, which was supposed to take place on December 17, will be postponed. In the mobile segment, the company is apparently preparing a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. This solution was recently mentioned in the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 GX650 laptop; Version 6.60 of AIDA64 officially mentions it.

In addition to initial support for Intel Raptor Lake and Meteor processors, the release notes indicate support for 12GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop cards. Also note the addition of “AVX-512 and AVX2 Accelerated Benchmarks for Intel Alder Lake and Raptor Lake Processors” Despite the fact that Alder Lake processors officially do not support AVX-512.

GPU GA104, GA103 or GA102?

As you can see, AIDA64 says nothing about the specifications of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti mobile phone. The previous leak about it was on a GA103S GPU with 7424 CUDA cores and 16 GB of GDDR6. The GA104 GPU, which allows for up to 6,144 CUDA cores, is certainly not unthinkable. However, the GeForce RTX 3080 mobile phone already packs this chip and uses it 100%. Thus, a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with a GA104 GPU will be limited to higher frequencies and/or more VRAM. Another variant is the GA102 GPU that offers up to 10,752 CUDA cores and is so far dedicated to desktop cards, in this case the GeForce RTX 3090, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3080. However, the appetite still needs to be adapted. Like GPU for laptops limitations.
