It was all about football and the colors of the Italian and European teams, but it wasn’t because of patriotism or love of football. More than 1,600 sports items bearing the fake trademarks of the most important football teams have been seized by the Financial Police and seized by Milan.
The counterfeit goods were sold by a company in Trezzano sul Naviglio, near Milan, which was discovered by the military during an anti-illicit trade activity.
Therefore, fake branded sporting gadgets and items can reproduce the colors and statues of major football clubs that were marketed in violation of copyright law.
The commercial value of the seized products, according to estimates by Fiamme Gialle, is approximately 81 thousand euros. The owner of the company, a 31-year-old Italian, has been denounced: he will have to defend himself from the accusation of trade in products with false marks.
