Fans of underwater horror of all kinds, here is an announcement that will delight you! In fact, Unknow Worlds has just announced that a new game in the Subnautica universe is officially in development.

Thanks to the licensing parents’ Twitter account, we were able to obtain this information. In fact, the developers will be looking for someone responsible for the narrative for their next game in the Subnautica universe. Codename Project M, which was due to come out this year and have early access.
No doubt the team is working on Subnautica, but it’s impossible to tell if it’s a direct sequel, a spin-off, or even a first-person game. Unknow Worlds would be more likely to be in a direct sequel given its direct success, but let’s not rush it. Given the stature in demand, the game is definitely only in pre-production. We should have address info soon!
