In 2019, the game’s original producer Vlad Cerraldi also said he was open to developing a sequel or remake of the action-adventure game.

“But for sure, it will be fun to re-explore these characters and this universe, and work again.”

Cerraldi also explained why he believes The Simpsons: Hit and Run Very likable, with the note that the game is beyond age and can be played by anyone.

He said, “In terms of why it has stood the test of time, I think it’s a game that kids can play, adults can play, and anyone who’s been a fan of the show can try to laugh and enjoy it.

“When you do something, sometimes you know you did something special. It was one of those we knew hit the mark. We didn’t know it was going to sell like it did – we had high hopes, but it definitely lives up to our expectations.”
