Tomodachi . game The anime adaptation has revealed a new trailer and additional casting details ahead of its April 5 premiere. The series is hosted by Studio Okuruto Noboru, under the direction of Hirofumi Ogura. Interestingly enough, this is the first real promotional video for the series, just two weeks before its premiere:
Minami Takayama, Rina Ueda, and Shizuka Ito join the cast as Manabu, Maria, and Tsukino, respectively. The main cast has been previously announced and includes:
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Yuichi Katagiri
- Daiki Hamano as Tenji Mikasa
- Yum Miyamoto as Shiho Sawaragi
- Tomohiro Ono as Makoto Shibi
- Satomi Amano as Yotori Kokurogi
Nana Mizuki sings the opening theme “Double Shuffle”, while Saji sings “Tomoshibi”, which will be the ending theme. In addition to director Ogura, Kenta Ihara is also working on the anime as writer/composer for the series. Satomi Miyazaki is responsible for designing the characters, while Michiru composes the music. Studio Okuruto Bonoru has previously worked on titles such as How not to summon a Demon Master: Omega And the The hidden dungeon that only I can enter into. The story is based on the manga for which Mikoto Yamaguchi introduced the concept and Yuki Sato did the art and story.
Tomodachi (Friends Game) Teases up the plot in the trailer. The plot follows Yuichi Katagiri, a high school student who values friendship above all else. He lived a fulfilling and quiet life with his friends Tenji, Shiho, Makoto, and Yutori until a large debt forced them to play a game in order to pay it off.
