The last sixteen pairs are known in the first degree after the small inflections. But who has the best chance of winning the Champions League? Dare to tip a duel against artificial intelligence.
There was chaos on Monday when the draw for the Champions League round of 16 took place. Only on the second attempt, matches were duly tied. The first attempt was an “unauthorized game”, which is why the procedure was repeated after three hours.
The biggest losers in this foul are Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, who are already facing each other and therefore also announced legal action. On the other hand, Bayern Munich has been given an easy task with Red Bull Salzburg.
But let’s take a look ahead and ask ourselves who will win the race in the end. I don’t quite do it, but because I want to measure myself against a supercomputer that has already predicted the outcome of the Champions League.
Well, it was starting to get pretty boring. Because my expectations for the quarter-finalists are not really different from those for a supercomputer. All English clubs prevail and are strengthened by Bayern, Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax and Juventus. The biggest question marks are probably Juventus, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. The confrontation between Manchester and Atletico in particular has great potential that can only be decided by penalties. Will Manchester win? Bold advice. But that’s how it happens.
As the potential quarter-final pairs are not known yet, it is difficult to predict the semi-finalists. The supercomputer simply uses the possibilities and this is how I do it. In this case, however, expectations now diverge more distinctly.
Even if Ajax clearly showed twice against Dortmund that they have the ability to take off in a giant way, the young team will have to learn their lesson in the quarter-finals and bid farewell. Meanwhile, thanks to the outstanding Kylian Mbappe, PSG are still in the semi-finals, despite losing the first leg.

My semi-final prediction
Regarding the final, Supercomputer and I agree again. Manchester City invites Bayern Munich in the final. The computer trusts Citizens to win the first class for the first time. I do not.
After the perfect group stage, Bayern Express would continue to move relentlessly into the final minutes of the final, even if the defense revealed individual weak stages. But with real-life footballer Robert Lewandowski by storm, Leroy Sane thriving more and more and the mentality of the “Mia San Mia” winner, Bavaria will once again destroy the English dream in the final and possibly send Pep Guardiola into early retirement.
