Windows 10 inherits Windows 10x

As I recently found out, Microsoft is apparently ditching Windows 10X. This is thinner Windows especially for mobile devices, which until now has been under active development and should coexist with Windows 10 in the future. However, working on it shouldn’t be completely in vain: well-accepted functionality by our testers should find their way into Windows 10. The current beta now has the first tangible signs of this. So it can be high in it Newer Windows With a little messing around, activate the option to drag the Quick Actions area over the Windows Clock with mouse gestures and then hide it again. Until now, this was only available in beta versions of Windows 10.

Other innovations

In addition to the new features above, there are new views in Device Manager. So far, basically all data has been sorted by device. There is now also a reverse option to directly list all drivers and only display the associated device when needed. Microsoft is only now reporting this innovation, although it’s been listed since Build 21343. However, what’s totally new to Build 21382 is that the Start menu opens automatically after the initial installation or after Windows upgrades, so users can get started right away. You can now see from the folder icon in Windows Explorer if the folder is empty. Finally, the new Segoe UI Variable System lineup has found its way to the touch keyboard.
As usual, the update fixes the bugs, this time there are exactly 16 pieces. A complete list of all changes can be found at Windows Insider Blog.
