Microsoft opens the door to Windows 11 update. Many computer users who haven’t rushed to the new version of the operating system can start now, if they so desire.
Although Microsoft released the final version of Windows 11 on October 5, not all compatible PCs have received the update. The publisher has chosen a progressive publishing solution to ensure that everyone has the best possible experience. It is, of course, possible to “force” the installation of the update for Windows 11, but users who are not in a hurry can wait for the program to appear in Windows Update.
Deployment will end in mid-2022
This may now be the case. Microsoft has already announced that Windows 11 is now available for the most compatible PCs. Improved availability as a result of a machine learning model the company has developed to determine if a computer can accommodate this new version of the operating system.
Microsoft recommends installing Windows 11 to take advantage of the latest security measures, as well as new features such as the revamped interface, new Microsoft Store, menu bar, etc. Deployment of Windows 11 is not yet complete, however, the publisher has already announced that all PCs will receive its update by mid-2022.
To install the new software, you need a PC running at least Windows 10 (2004), with the September 2021 update. To find out if your PC is compatible with Windows 11, Microsoft offers a PC Health Check tool that performs a diagnostic for the device. And if not, we can use tampering but beware, Microsoft has warned that these PCs won’t always be supported.
