Windows 11: MSN Weather now has a new user interface


Microsoft recently released another update to the MSN Weather app. In addition to minor improvements, the new version also has a revised design. The app is currently only for Windows 11-InsiderThose who are logged in to the developer channel are available.

Design adapted to Windows 11

The update brings the app version number to 4.53.33420.0. as WindowsBlogItalia (via MSPoweruser) writes, MSN Weather now uses a graphic style that better matches the Windows 11 user interface. The buttons are now displayed with rounded corners. In addition, the lines were made larger and thicker. The items in the Settings menu have also been adapted to match the look of Windows 11.

In addition to the new design, the developers have made an improvement to the start menu. If additional locations are installed in the start menu, the name of the associated city will now be displayed. This should enable users to get to know the relevant linking site better. Additionally, some bug fixes have been made with the update to version 4.53.33420.0 and minor performance improvements have been incorporated into the app.

The update is only for insiders at the moment

At the moment, the update has not yet been distributed to all users of the new Redmond OS. Only Insiders currently have the option to test the new version of the MSN Weather app. To download the latest version, registration in the Insider Program developer channel is required. Unless the update causes problems, the update may be delivered to all users in the next few weeks.
