After revealing his visual and storyline, Riot Games is finally giving more details about the skills of new hero Zeri. Currently on the PBE, it will be available with update 12.2.
Zeri skill details
Run, charge and shoot the bad guys. Zeri, the spark of Zaun, hits the rift in patch 12.2
Passive skill – live battery
Zeri gains movement speed when you receive a shield. When it destroys an enemy’s shield, it absorbs its energy to protect itself.
A – Rafale
Passive: Zeri’s basic attack deals magic damage, strengthens power, and counts as a skill. Moving and launching Flurry stores energy in Zeri’s Ionic Pack. When fully charged, her next basic attack slows down and deals extra damage.
Active: Burst fires 7 projectiles that deal physical damage with the first hit of the enemy.
Burst increases based on the damage of the attack and is treated as an attack, with the first impact projectile applied to the effect. Its cooldown time matches that of the Zeri Basic Attack.
Z – Electrocutor Laser
Zeri fires an electrical pulse that slows down and destroys the enemy’s first strike. If the pulse hits a wall, it fires a long-range laser from the point of impact.
E – ionic charge
Zeri dash for a short distance and activate his next three bursts, the projectiles of which will pierce the enemies. It will jump or slide against whatever terrain it hits, depending on the angle. Hitting a hero with an attack or skill reduces the ion charge slowdown.
R – electric explosion
Zeri unleashes a new generator that deals damage to nearby enemies. Zere overburdened for a short time. When overloaded, Zeri gains extra damage, attack speed, and movement speed. Attacking rival heroes updates the duration of the overload and adds movement speed. When overloaded, Flurry’s damage is concentrated in a faster triple shot that creates an electric arc between enemies.
