An 18-year-old youth from Wetzlar (Lan-Del region) was a pickpocket victim last Saturday. The accident occurred during the train journey from Frankfurt am Main to Dillenberg, at around 8 pm, at the station at platform 1 of the Jessen train station.

An unknown person so far pulled the woman’s mobile phone from her pocket, while one of the accomplices knocked on the woman’s window from the stage to distract her.

The 18-year-old describes the man on the stage as follows:

The second culprit was said to have been between 20 and 30 years old and about 6 feet tall. He was thin, with short black hair and dark complexion. He wore a thick black jacket and black jeans.

The next day, the victim filed a criminal complaint with the police in Wetzlar.

The Federal Police Inspectorate in Kassel is responsible for further investigations.
