Mario Golf: Super Rush is revealed in the video

Nintendo’s golf course has never been as fast as Mario Golf: Super Rush. Along with the various characters from the Mushroom Kingdom, players can play single-player golf or compete against family and friends in multiplayer modes. The spin-off Nintendo Switch game will be released on June 25.

The final trailer shows what golfers can expect in the summer. Get ready to go head-to-head with friends and family in Mario Golf: Super Rush on the official Nintendo YouTube channel in German. The video (see above) reveals Nintendo champions swinging the club in the game, a new game mode, various golf courses and other details.

Here are some highlights

One way to control: Uncomplicated button control makes it easy for new players and experienced golf professionals alike to achieve success. Targeting the hatch, choosing your shot power, and letting the ball fly over the aisle is easier than ever. Alternatively, easy motion control can be used, which is available in all game modes except for Golf Adventure. If you want to use it, you can simply move Joy-Con like a real golf club.

Useful functions: In addition to the intuitive controls, various functions and technologies also allow precise strikes on the golf course. For example, turning is an effective technique for avoiding obstacles. The spin you give the ball also affects how it spins after landing. The blow bar, which adapts to the slope of the terrain, and the survey, which provides additional information on its condition, are also useful.

Familiar faces: Golfers can slide into the roles of 16 well-known characters from the Mushroom Kingdom. They all have different strengths and each has unique special abilities. Pauline, Football-Chuck, and King Bob-omb are celebrating their series debut in the Nintendo Switch section.

Several golf courses: No two games are alike in Mario Golf: Super Rush. This is ensured by the many golf courses – from classic courses to those with special obstacles. Golf lovers can choose between six fertile areas.

Various game modes: Nintendo Switch golfers can have fun on the boardwalk in a variety of game modes, either alone or with other players. Multiplayer games are possible over a local and online Nintendo Switch connection. The latter requires internet access, a Nintendo account, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Golf speed: Several players take off at the same time in a fast-paced game of golf. Then they run together over the lane after the ball to be the first to drop it. It is important to collect useful items to maintain stamina and avoid traps that lurk in the path. If you’re running late, you can still decide the game yourself with a special sprint or a cleverly used special hit.

Golf Battle: In the recently announced Battle Golf, a fierce variant of speed golf, there are nine holes in play at the same time. Winner: Who is the first to put three of them.

Standard Golf: In standard golf, every stroke counts and the winner is the one who hits the ball with the fewest number of strokes.

Golf adventure: In single golf adventure mode, players can sign up as their Mii character for a stylish golf club. There they have the opportunity to develop from beginner to professional golf. When they meet familiar faces from the Mushroom Kingdom, they learn to swing bats and master the countless challenges in the game. With the experience they gain, they can also improve their Mii character’s values, which they can also compete with in multiplayer modes.

All this and more awaits players on June 25th when Mario Golf: Super Rush comes to the Nintendo Switch.
