Véronique Duffaut, a music teacher at Moissac and a music teacher, decided to reconcile her passion for board games with her love for music. With Katie, Marie Laurie and Yves and Perrin, partners in the educational and entertainment publishing house Je J’aime du Jeu, they have just launched their first collection of Musicadabra games, a set of tools designed to facilitate the learning of music and especially music theory. The first set, “Océbo & Cie”, includes an Océbo card game, for reading notes in 8 game rules, and its accompanying multifaceted teaching methods. Véronique Duffaut explains: “These sets that will be cut up as a family are the result of several years’ collaboration with music education professionals, and they are very popular today.” “Designed for all ages, providing an opportunity to come together around constructive, sensory, kinesthetic, emotional, intellectual and musical activity. Understanding for better learning and play for inclusion, all in a friendly, multi-generational atmosphere, this is a credo,” she adds. From beginning to expert level, everyone will find something to feed their thirst for discovery, sharing and coexistence. The “Océbo & Cie” set is available for pre-sale via crowdfunding on the platform, which will then allow Je J’aime du Jeu to release the larger version of the other instruments in the Musicadabra collection. The editor promised that “the first 100 kits purchased before December 22nd will be delivered before Christmas.”
