What do you do on the first of January?

The holidays are drawing to a close with the end of the first week of the new year. To make the most of these last days, here are some ideas for activities with family or friends.

The festivities are a chance to test the limits of our liver, and not just by swallowing geese. For those who want to get rid of guilt by eliminating oysters, tree shells, and other chocolate, nothing beats skateboarding. This sport works in everything: the muscles of the abdomen, thighs and knees, as well as the ability to stand on a slippery surface, while maintaining a minimum of dignity. The ice rink, located right in front of the CGR complex, has been welcoming enthusiasts and beginners alike since December 4th, and will remain open until tomorrow. It can be accessed from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday, and from 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday.

Show in the cinema

After the effort, rest. The cinema is open every day of the year, and a show on the big screen is a good way to spend the first of January … For a family movie, the comedy “Le Test” with Philippe Catherine and Alexandra Lamy offers an interesting moment, with especially promising young actors. In another record, “Next Door” plunges a popular actor, played by Daniel Bruhl, into the midst of an existential crisis in a bar. As for “Tous en scene”, this cartoon had already seduced adults and children in 2016. The second part was as successful as its predecessor (the whole program finds the opposite)

outdoor walks

For lovers of outdoor walks, we no longer offer Hermitage and Passeligne park, which are essential to our department. The first site offers a breathtaking view of the Garonne Valley, after a good climb under the watchful Eye of the Virgin, and the second combines artificial lakes and large fields for impromptu football matches, not to mention a pedestrian path.

Finally, in Estillac, Monky park is a new entertainment complex. Over 5,000 square metres, visitors have access to a bowling alley, escape games, arcade games, karaoke rooms and a virtual reality area. There is something for all tastes and all ages. What a good start to the year!
