3D renderings of the Meta Project Cambria mixed reality headset



Long called the Oculus Quest Pro, the next Meta headset is currently codenamed Project Cambria. A few months ago, we already saw a 3D rendering of the headset, controllers and charging surface.

New photos are coming out today thanks to YouTubers SadSpecialized in virtual reality devices. In his latest video, the YouTuber claims to have seen images of Project Cambria in its current state of development. The development is near completion and put into production.

Unable to share these photos directly, Bradley got help recreating his next 3D Mixed Reality headset. Unofficial photos show that there are four main sensors hidden under the front face, as well as others on the sides and bottom of the face.

Project Cambria is expected to feature high-resolution mixed reality color rendering, new optics, eye and face tracking, and controllers without tracking rings. Latest news, Meta was planning to launch as early as 2022, definitely towards the end of the year.
