Apple launches new iPad and iPad Pro tablets along with new M4 chip.
Today, at 10 am, the American giant revealed the latest news in the iPad range, which includes: the new iPad Pro, iPad Air, and Apple Pencil.
Available in silver and space black, the new iPad Pro comes in two sizes: a 13-inch model and an ultra-portable 11-inch model. Both sizes feature an Ultra Retina XDR display with tandem OLED technology, providing a great viewing experience according to the manufacturer. The new iPad Pro is made possible by the new M4 chip, the next generation of Apple silicon, which delivers a huge leap forward in performance and capabilities.
Even more surprising is the thinness of the iPad Pro, the thinnest device Apple has ever made.
New 11- and 13-inch iPad Air with M2 chip
Apple is updating its iPad lineup on Tuesday, a bit late since announcing the previous iPad Air more than two years ago. The most important addition to the new iPad Air is that it now comes in two sizes: 11 and 13 inches.
It's not as capable as the iPad Pro, but it offers more features than the base iPad model. For example, the iPad Air supports the second-generation Apple Pencil (a stylus that attaches magnetically to the side of the tablet) and the Magic Keyboard.
The system on the device's chip has been updated. The previous version was equipped with the Apple M1 chip; The company is now using the M2 chip for the iPad Air. iPad Air supports Wi-Fi 6E wireless networking, and customers can choose a model that supports 5G cellular.
