The Balma en Transition Association will receive the public today at the Environment Center.
This monthly meeting provides free access to Zero Waste, Café bricol, Repair vêt, Climate Awareness and Alim'action workshops…
In March, the association opened a workshop called “PC bricol”, under the responsibility of Bertrand Sotero.
Goal: Optimize computers running Windows environments. Over time, a computer stores a number of applications and data, such as cookies, files related to web browsing, saving, among others, identifiers, or even tracking the Internet user's navigation for statistical purposes, or even advertising.
“What I am often asked to do is perform digital cleaning of the computer,” confirms Bertrand Sotero.
He continues: “For example, to delete cookies or manage computer startup. I can also install a utility to clean up the computer. It's very easy to use and I take the time to explain how it works.”
Like all of her workshops, Balma in Transition focuses on teaching through her personal computer. Objective: To support and describe the principle of the intervention to visitors, which they can later reproduce themselves.
