Having been somewhat of a secret since its announcement last November, Vapor World: Over The Mind is now being talked about again via a new trailer for the game released to mark the announcement of the second free demo.
Vapor World: Over The Mind Gets Demo Ahead of Xbox Game Pass
Vapor World is a side-scrolling action-adventure game that will immerse players in a sinister world filled with nightmares and terrifying dangers. The player will play as a young boy tormented by dark dreams, facing his worst fears. His goal will be to defeat increasingly powerful enemies and bosses in order to survive in this hostile world.
The boy's deepest nightmares will come to life and each enemy will represent a fragment of his tormented mind. Players will have to overcome these “shocks”, powerful bosses, using stealth attacks to gain the advantage and absorb the essence of their enemies. Encounters are expected to be intense and full of surprises.
Vapor World will also focus on exploration and mastering various skills. By collecting items during the adventure, players will be able to develop the “Throw” skill, which will allow them to manipulate projectiles or blind their opponents, making victory easier. These skills will be essential to overcome the many obstacles that will form the young boy’s path.
Finally, the game will offer an authentic visual experience, with high-quality graphics inspired by the techniques of the great masters of painting. Every detail will be taken care of, right down to the lighting effects, to fully immerse players in this terrifying, dreamlike world.
If you're looking to try out the title, that's a good thing, as the demo will be available to try starting August 14. Vapor World: Over The Mind will then be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and directly on Xbox Game Pass at a still-unknown date.
