The Municipal Council deliberated on June 21, to approve the construction of the Free Mobile relay antenna, the site is located in plot B626 or B 663 near the Pacoran area. The residents reject it because it is too close to the cave of the same name, raising the argument that the area is classified as a ZNIEFF (Natural Area of Ecological, Faunal and Flora Importance). This area extends over the municipalities of Montmorin, Lesbog and North Blagan. The ZNIEFF was launched in 1982 by the Ministry of the Environment.
“The ministerial decree of December 26, 23, explains Mayor Gabriel Amiel, appoints Montmorin to cover the total mobile phone. The municipal council met on March 25 and 24 to deliberate on the project of installing an antenna by the free operator. We were then invited to a meeting on April 26 in the Saint-Gaudens sub-prefecture, in the presence of the deputy prefect, to discuss its establishment and implementation. The file is now in the hands of the free operator, in conjunction with other operators in the municipality. »
