The long-awaited season 3 has arrived: After the first new episode of “Log Horizon” appeared on Japanese TV today, it is now available on demand on WAKANIM. We summarize the most important details again.
New episodes every Wednesday
The sequel, “Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table”, can now be watched on simulcast every Wednesday at 1:00 pm with German subtitles. There will be a total of 12 new episodes airing in winter 2021.
As with Season 2, Director Shinji Ishihara is in charge of production for Studio DEEN. Toshizu Nimoto writes the script, while Seuji Masuda returns to work as a supervisor. The music was composed by Yasuharu Takanashi.
It is not yet known if Wakanim will add the first two 25-part seasons, previously available from Viewster streaming service, which has since been decommissioned, to its program at a later time.

Suddenly 30,000 players are transported away from their daily lives into the world famous MMORPG Elder Tale – and they can no longer log out. Among them is the socially awkward college student Shiroe, whose confusion and trauma continues only for a moment before, as a veteran of the game, immediately wants to explore the limits of his new reality.
Shiroe has to learn to live in this new world, lead others and negotiate with the “indigenous people”, also known as NPC, in order to stabilize the virtual city of Akihabara. He is accompanied by his unhappy friend Nautsogo, who logs into it for the first time in years, and Akatsuki, a young but ferocious killer Shiro describes as a master.
