The Fortnite Champion Series is entering a new season

The hype about Fortnite continues. The Epic Games Developer now announces the next season of the Fortnite Champion Series.

Epic Games announced that the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) will be held in triple format in 2021. Details of potential prizes, transfer schedules, as well as gameplay tweaks and other tournament offerings have also been announced.

Fortnite makers hope to create an experience that is more consistent with FNCS 2021 season than the previous series. This is also reflected in the awards: in the most important part of the Fortnite competition, FNCS, a prize pool of $ 20 million USD will be distributed this year – in 2020 it was $ 17 million USD. Of this amount, US $ 1.35 million is available for Europe for each of the four FNCS seasons. Mid- and year-end, there will be bigger tournaments where the best FNCS players can compete for extra cash prizes.

FNCS Schedule – Chapter 2 – Season 5:

  • Qualification 1: February 4 to 7
  • Qualification 2: February 11-14
  • Qualification 3: February 18-21
  • BREAK: February 25-28
  • Semi-finals: March 5-7
  • Round replay: 12 and 13 March
  • Finals: 12-14 March

In addition to the high prize money of $ 20 million that is distributed as part of FNCS, there will be other competition opportunities where players can claim prizes:

  • On separate Saturdays
  • LTM tournaments adjustments
  • Triangular cash prize cups
