A mobile vaccination unit that intersects with the Liege region

(Belga) Wallonia is currently deploying several mobile vaccination antennas on its territory in order to increase the vaccination coverage rate of the Walloon population in the face of the Covid-19 virus, to ensure sufficient capacity of the structures to administer the third “booster” dose to the elderly and vulnerable, and to provide close vaccination to the largest possible number of People, especially for people who have difficulty moving. Such is the case in the town of Saint-Nicolas where a mobile device was installed on Thursday, after it passed through the campus of Sart-Tilman University on Wednesday. For the city’s mayor, Valerie Maes (PS), the presence of this infrastructure was important given the vaccination rate of around 74% in the entity.

For her part, Walloon Health Minister Kristi Moriale (PS) noted that “there are still 130,000 Walloons who have not yet been vaccinated despite the fact that they suffer from certain diseases.” This branch will then stop at Vaux-sous-Chèvremont (Chaudfontaine) and then in different regions of Liège (Sainte-Marguerite, Droixhe, Wandre, Guillemins and Vennes). People who come for a third dose should have the vaccination invitation with them. (Belga)
