Amazon is expanding the range of “free” games into Prime Gaming. As the company announces, Prime members can look forward to more free games in the summer. The focus is on classic point-and-click adventures from LucasArts. These include The Secret of Monkey Island, Sam & Max: Hit The Road, and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. The titles appear one by one – and are always available at the beginning of the month. Starts July 1st: Prime customers secure the full version of The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition “for free” with Prime Gaming.
The Indiana Jones classic and Fate of Atlantis will follow on August 1, and Sam & Max: Hit the Road will be available as an all-in-one with a Prime membership on September 1st. The following applies: The full versions of LucasArts games are also yours forever once you activate them with your account. An Amazon Prime subscription is required to play the games. The monthly subscription costs 7.99 euros, and the annual membership is available for 69 euros. New customers can use Try Prime Service free for 1 month.
