On Wednesday evening, a 58-year-old Air Force lieutenant colonel was attacked and robbed by two people in the town of Elancourt.

The incidents occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. on avenue Montmorency when the officer was parking his car near his home. There, he was surprised by two people. They hit him on the head with the butt of a pistol.
Attackers hit
The personnel then confiscated a computer and a hard drive in a shoulder bag that the officer was carrying. Shocked by the blow, the victim attempted to do so but the attackers hit him again on the skull before he escaped and disappeared.
The officer informed the firefighters and police. He was taken care of and then taken to Chesnay Hospital. Suffers from a large wound in the level of the skull.

An investigation was immediately opened. The lieutenant colonel explained to investigators that he holds the position of Commissar of the Armies at Velizy Villakoplay Air Force Base. He is responsible for public contracts and his computer contains sensitive files. He says he is “very concerned that it will be made public”.
