Apple: Will iPhone Airpods Ship Soon?

The unveiling of the iPhone 13 was one of the highlights of Apple’s keynote on September 14, 2021, and after a few weeks, rumors are already beginning to boil over future versions of the popular smartphone: in a report by 9to5macReferring to the latest edition of Bloomberg – Power On newsletter Apple insider Mark Gorman wrote that the California tech company is working on a two-way charging option that would allow devices to charge each other via induction. Gurman also writes that Apple is still working on a multi-device charger, like the failing AirPower charging mat it was originally meant to be.
In June 2021, there were indications that Apple was developing an inductive charging mat for several devices that should replace the failed AirPower experiment. According to Gorman, the company is also continuing to work on solutions for wireless charging over short and long distances: This includes an inductive charging method that works over longer ranges. This would make it possible to power the smartphone from a distance within your four walls without being directly connected to the device. However, none of this has been confirmed, which is why the rumors – as always – should be treated with caution.
