Biodegradable iPhone Cases for Plant Growing

Unlike chargers, which are now universal, phone cases generally don’t adapt from model to model. In order to avoid the accumulation of things (and therefore waste), eco-friendly gadget brand iGreen Gadgets has designed the first biodegradable iPhone cases.

In fact, the biodegradable shells are made only of natural elements, and are therefore designed to be planted in flower boxes (this may seem surprising). More precisely, they contain seeds, allowing them to be planted once their use is over.

In this way, each shell should be planted halfway into the potting soil and tilted about 30 degrees. It will then decompose and release the seeds it contains to give life to basil, daisies or forget-me-nots.

With the help of this initiative, the startup sought to raise public awareness about the environmental impact that every action in our daily lives, even the seemingly trivial ones, can have. Thus, it offers an effective and sustainable solution to give a second life to currently non-recyclable items.

The cases are currently available in three colors, green, yellow and blue, for €17.99 on the official website. iGreen Tools It is compatible with Apple iPhone 13 Pro, 14 Pro and 15 Pro. In a similar spirit, we invite you to (re)discover the biodegradable shoe box made from mushrooms designed by Adidas.
