The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 – one of the most anticipated games of 2024 – is approaching.
Activision's new shooting game will be available on PC and consoles for the current two generations, but today we learned that thanks to modern reality technologies the game will be released on more platforms.
Here's what we know
Microsoft and Activision have confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on the Xbox Cloud Gaming service on the first day after release, allowing the game to be streamed on smartphones, tablets and smart TVs.
Cloud access is free for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
In addition, a similar option will be available for two other games in the series: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone.
This is a first in the history of the Call of Duty series and a victory for the community. Players will be able to access multiple Call of Duty games through Xbox Cloud Gaming for the first time, and Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to play Call of Duty in more ways than ever before, including on their consoles, PCs, mobile phones, and devices. The option will be launched in beta for now.
When can we expect it?
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox with Game Pass.
