Designed within a few months in Grenoble, this removable hull could help astronauts explore highly sought-after areas of Earth’s most famous satellite. #solutions_solution

It is called EuroHab and behind its name hides a sacred innovation:
The bubble house designed by a young company from Grenoble, Partition space. For four months, these engineers designed an inflatable habitat at the Air Liquide site, near Grenoble, intended for travel to the moon.

With the development of space tourism, this new style of “light accommodation” has become the subject of interest in many countries. Americans, Chinese, Europeans and even billionaires dream of establishing a permanent base there to exploit these lunar resources. With EuroHab, the dream has come true. Self-propelled and automated, this inflatable bubble of life similar to a mobile home in space enriches the fields of exploration. “You get to the moon with a robotic vehicle, so it can be put in advance before the astronauts arrive. It’s an advantage because you can land it in more dangerous areas,” Peter Weiss, Spartan Space Project Manager, explains.

Little is known about the hidden and icy face of the moon. The goal of EuroHab is therefore to reach the regions to the south of the lunar star. The Spartan Space inflatable habitat will provide astronauts with greater mobility. “During future missions, when astronauts find it difficult to navigate certain areas of the lunar surface such as craters, EuroHab will serve as a refuge for them and when there are permanent habitat structures, it will also serve as an emergency shelter,” Details of Nisheet Singh, Electronics Engineer – Spartan Space

With the support of French and European space agencies, the Grenoble prototype will leave the Isere hangar this week for Dubai, where it will be presented at the end of October at the International Astronautical Congress before its unveiling at the World Exhibition.
