Activision just announced that a new Call of Duty: Mobile server update next week will bring Season 2 into the game. It has loads of new additions to the game.
The developers have released patch notes for the upcoming update that lists all the changes and additions to the game. The new season will contain new maps, weapons and characters.
Here’s a look at what entails the second season of Call of Duty: Mobile.
New Maps: Shipment and Shoot House
The two new maps arriving this time are Shipment and Shoot House. Cargo Map was part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and has been rewritten for the mobile launch.
While the Shoot House looks like a training ground converted into a combat zone with real people and real weapons taking part in the combat. The video shows that the interior of the map is a briefing room as well as a target training area.
New weapons
The new weapons that were introduced to the game with the second season include an assault rifle and a sniper rifle. While the developers have not yet mentioned the names of the two weapons added to the game, the leaks indicate that they could be the Russian AS Val assault rifle and the SP-R 208 Marksmen rifle.
New character: the ghost
The new character added this time is Ghost from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It was voiced by Geoff Leitch and will have five variations including Classic, Stealth, Hazmat, Cowboy and Dark Vision. The fifth figure will essentially see the character change their costumes.
Nouveau Scorestreak: Napalm
Additionally, a new Scorestreak has been added to the game called Napalm. This point chain will launch a “rain plane” on enemies when summoned by a player. This will work in the same way as launching a drone. Players may be able to locate this point scoring path on the map.
