Expulsion in Brocéliande

Regularly, elected representatives of the Karintwar Municipal Youth Council come to meet the elderly, residents of the municipal self-government headquarters. On Wednesday afternoon, two of them, Lenise and Maya, shared a special Blue Week moment by participating in an afternoon dedicated to board games created by Veronique, the psychiatric assistant responsible for the animation.
In particular, they were able to introduce residents to two new games, Mito, which is cheat-based, and Wazabi. Elsewhere at the tables, “classic” games such as Little Horses were very popular, in particular Triominos, which was a real hit. Jacqueline Truffley, Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs who accompanied the young elected officials, could not resist the urge to challenge one of the residents to the famous Scrabble… In short, an afternoon marked by conviviality, good humor and intergenerational exchange.
In fact, the 44 residents are spoiled for choice in how they spend their days. Memory workshops, lotteries, craft activities, outings to restaurants or the cinema… “We offer them activities every day,” Veronique sums up…
