Unfortunately for us Call of Duty: Black Ops 6did not offer early access… However, American players need to surrender more! Since Activision didn't provide us with early access, we'll have to do it ourselves.

As a reminder, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 It comes out October 25th. Or that October 25 does not come at the same time everywhere in the world! Let me explain! Due to the time difference, some regions of the world start October 25 earlier than us, and this is the case of New Zealand, for example.

When October 25th starts there, it will be 1pm here! This is where the fun begins and fun is allowed. Here's the trick!


Change settings

As any good Animal Crossing player would do, simply change the time and region in your settings! Here are the steps to follow for each platform, described by our colleagues at GamingIntel:

Xbox

  1. Go to Settings on your Xbox dashboard.
  2. Choose the system.
  3. Click the Location drop-down menu and choose New Zealand.
  4. Select English (New Zealand) as the language region.
  5. To apply the changes, press the Restart Now button.
  6. Visit the official Call of Duty website
  7. Click Sign in in the upper right corner of the screen
  8. Sign in with your Activision address
  9. Click the profile name at the top right, then select Basic Information from the drop-down menu
  10. Click Edit next to the title
  11. Choose a New Zealand address
  12. Save

Playstation

  1. Go to the Call of Duty website
  2. Log in to your Call of Duty account
  3. Click on your profile and select “Basic Information”
  4. Enter an address in New Zealand
  5. Make sure to save your changes and load Black Ops 6

PC (Game Pass only)

Unfortunately, this trick only works on PC with the Xbox app. Here are the steps to follow according to Dexerto:

  1. Go to Windows Settings.
  2. Go to “Time & language.”
  3. Select “Region”.
  4. Change your region to New Zealand.
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Sign in to the Xbox app again, and the currency should be displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
  7. Go to the Call of Duty website and repeat the steps above to change your Activision account region.
