Cognac: A mobile museum has been created in Kruen to open up art and painting to as many people as possible

They are 37 works, many drawings, from the collections of the International City of Caricatures and Images (CIBDI) of Angoulême and the Poitou-Charentes Regional Fund for Contemporary Art (Frac) that have conceived this unique exhibition entitled “Drawing in all its states”, one of the originals of which is scheduled to be installed… in Bright red 20 ton semi trailer.

“Enjoy the beautiful things it has to offer.”

Located in the parking lot of the community center in the Kruen area, it is hard to miss “Momo”or the mobile museum, “which travels through New Aquitaine for the first time after having already done so in several countries in Europe and Africa as well,” confirms Lucie Avril, the museum's executive director.

Idea from the French artist Ingrid Brochard, this truck is equipped with air conditioning (21°C) as in a real museum to allow its visitors to enjoy the exhibitions it carries with complete peace of mind, perfectly designed, with a small exhibition room in addition, to achieve its mission: bringing art to the doorstep of the population, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.

Workshops are also on the list

Already passing through Angoulême where he began his tour of Charente at the beginning of the month, this museum is open for free until Friday 1 November (1) “For everyone without exception, adults and children, of all ages and groups. She also offers outdoor workshops on drawing,” says Nicole Roy.
