Control the ventilation system and heat pump from your mobile phone | Modern building | Files

With the Nilan app, various ventilators can be operated remotely, for example to control room climate in both the apartment and the holiday home. Multiple users can be connected to the same application.

Once the ventilation system or heat pump is connected to the Internet via Nilan Gateway, the system can be controlled remotely using the Nilan app, which can be downloaded for free (from App Store or Google Play) on a mobile phone. The gateway is connected to the terminal of the machine via a LAN connection and then to the Internet router via a LAN cable or WiFi connection. This creates a secure cloud connection between the Nilan device and the smartphone.

The Nilan app enables tracking of ventilation system operation and modifying user settings such as required room temperature, desired fan level, and humidity control. The app also displays the time until the next filter change and sends a notification via the alarm screen at the right time.

Another function is to create direction curves: the ventilation system operating parameters (such as room temperature or humidity) can be viewed from the previous week.

All Nilan CTS602 Controlled Systems can be controlled via Nilan App. However, some ventilation systems require a software update to take full advantage of the application. The Nilan Comfort Series with the new CTS400 control system also enables use of the app. This means that most residential and commercial units can be linked to the app.
